HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS AT STEW LEONARD’S NORWALK STORE
WHAT:
Stew Leonard’s in Norwalk is kicking off the 2024 holiday season with many family-friendly activities, including holiday-themed classes and a special Breakfast with Santa!
Except when noted, the price is per child per class and payment is required at the time of registration via Eventbrite.com (search for Stew Leonard’s in Norwalk). Parents/caretakers are kindly asked to register children at least 24 hours in advance. If a parent/caretaker needs to cancel a class, refunds will be given only if the store is notified 24 hours in advance. Classes will be held in Stew Leonard’s Conference Room on the second floor of the grocery store in Norwalk, Conn. Children need to be accompanied by an adult, for toddlers (ages 2-5 years old), which requires an adult to supervise their little one. All paid ticketed events will be posted on Eventbrite.com by November 1, 2024.
Acorn Cupcake Decorating & Painting Class
November 6, 2024, from 10 – 11 a.m.
Ages 2-5
$15 per child
Children will create their own autumn-inspired masterpieces using fallen leaves and paint. While the paint dries, children will decorate a cupcake to look like an acorn. A parent or caretaker is asked to accompany their child to this class. Limited to 15 children
Apple Pie Making Class
November 13, 2024, from 4-5 p.m.
Ages 6-10
$21 per child
Calling all aspiring pastry chefs! In today’s class, children will learn to make apple pie. They’ll roll out the dough, add the filling, and unroll the pastry over the pie. Stew’s bakery team will provide instructions and families will bake their pie at home! A parent or caretaker is asked to accompany their child to this class. Limited to 15 children
Meet Santa Claus at Stew’s!

Saturday & Sunday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
This holiday season, families are invited to take a complimentary photo with Santa Claus himself at Stew Leonard’s.
Stew’s Little Farm Lighting Celebration
December 3, 2024, at 5 p.m.
Stew Leonard’s Norwalk store is kicking off the 2024 holiday season with its annual Little Farm lighting celebration. The festivities begin at 5 p.m. with musical entertainment from the Naramake Elementary School choir and the Norwalk High School Choir. Santa & Mrs. Claus will spend the evening mingling with families and handing out candy canes. Complimentary hot cocoa and cookies will be served. No registration is necessary for this free event.
Reindeer Cupcake Making Class
December 4, 2024, from 10 – 11 a.m.
Ages 2-5
$17 per child
Children will be given 4 cupcakes to decorate with holiday frosting, sprinkles, and other festive toppings. Each child will bring their yummy treats home with them. Parents or caretakers are asked to accompany their child to this class. Limited to 15 children per class.
Candy Cane Pizza Class
December 10, 2024, from 4 – 5 p.m.
Ages 6-10
$20 per child
Children are invited to prepare candy cane-shaped pizzas to cook and eat. They’ll spread Stew’s famous pizza sauce and create white stripes across the “candy cane” using Stew Leonard’s mozzarella before decorating it with pepperoni. Stew’s pizza chefs will bake each of their pizzas at the store for the kids to enjoy. Parents or caretakers are asked to accompany their child to this class. Limited to 15 children per class.
Breakfast with Santa and Stew’s Costumed Characters

Children aged 11 and under: $18.99/each.
Guests aged 12 and over (including all accompanying parents): $22.99/each.

Families are invited to have breakfast with Santa and his friends! A buffet-style breakfast of scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, assorted bagels, fruit, and donuts will be served accompanied by coffee and hot cocoa! Each child will be given a coloring book to color and will be able to take their book home. Limited seating available and tickets must be purchased in advance via Eventbrite.com
Christmas Tree Sugar Cones Class
When: December 17, 2024, from 10 – 11 a.m.
Ages 2-5
$17 per child
Children will decorate six sugar cones to make Christmas trees using festive frosting, sprinkles, M&Ms, and other special decorations. Each child will bring their yummy treats home with them. Parents or caretakers are asked to accompany their child to this class.
Gingerbread House Making Class
December 18, 2024, from 4 – 5 p.m.
Ages 6-10
$20 per child
Children will make and decorate a gingerbread house using graham crackers, frosting, and assorted candies.
Menorah Lighting Celebration
Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 5 p.m.
Stew Leonard’s Norwalk store is celebrating Chanukah, the Festival of Lights, with its 33rd annual menorah lighting celebration. The celebration starts with Rabbi Yehoshua Hecht of Beth Israel Chabad of Westport/Norwalk lighting an 18-foot menorah. Following the menorah lighting is a celebration complete with live music, holiday song and dance and complimentary Kosher refreshments and juice. Traditional dreidels and chocolate gelt will be distributed to all. Local dignitaries from Norwalk and Westport will be on hand to partake in Fairfield County’s largest menorah lighting celebration.
